Sixteen years of shipping — first goods, then pixels, now software. None of it wasted: every counter, call queue and boiler room shows up in how I build today.

Aircraft systems & the shop floor
Three years of EASA part-66 aircraft mechanic theory — hydraulics, avionics, the discipline of systems where mistakes aren’t an option — alongside part-time shifts at Coop in Lillestrøm. The shop kept me six years: by 2015 I was running the sports section, with ordering, campaigns, complaints, staff training and my first enterprise system (SAP, behind a till) on my plate. Where “just handle it” became a habit.

Every side of the counter
A soft-drink factory shop, a spring in Warsaw consulting finance customers by phone, then a year in Ragn-Sells’ call queue — orders, complaints, callbacks. Unglamorous, and formative: I’ve been the person clunky enterprise software gets inflicted on. I still build for that person.

Design school, double speed — NTNU, Gjøvik
Bachelor in interaction design: UX and data visualization, graduating with a B — while working the Telia counter on the side, finishing as assistant shop manager. Final year I taught too: student assistant in two courses, from user-centered methods to Arduino and laser-cut tangible interfaces. The thesis turned ecosystem accounting into visuals municipal politicians could actually act on, with researchers from NINA and OsloMet.

Designer in the wild, then independent
A UX internship at VARIG, making carbon emissions visible and usable — then out on my own. Høiby CO: freelance web development, IT support and technical advising for small businesses. Design, build, support, invoice — every hat, one head.
One of those first clients came back in 2026 — with a much bigger build2023.
Keeping buildings alive
Alongside the freelancing, a year as operating technician for industrial and office buildings: troubleshooting systems from every era imaginable, coordinating contractors, keeping owners on the right side of regulations. Operations, not theory — when it breaks, you fix it.

Enterprise IT — Felleskjøpet Agri
Eighteen months of 1st/2nd-line support in a large organization mid-transformation: daily ServiceNow, M365 enterprise administration, and being the human bridge through a legacy-to-Dynamics-365 ERP migration. Every era before this one got used — the call-queue patience, the design eye, the “just handle it”.

Founding Datamynt
Started Datamynt AS and shipped for real: merdata.no live with paying customers — payments, provisioning, AI support, the accounting behind it — and a complete M365 rollout delivered for a property company, tenant from scratch to trained users. Underneath it all, a growing fleet of Bitcoin-native infrastructure.
Datamynt is a registered telecom provider with Nkom2026.
The agentic frontier
Won “Best MCP Use” at the Open Run Agentic Pay hackathon — then stress-tested the idea solo: 1,322 AI agents exchanging 471,566 signed payments over 27 hours. Early customers keep coming back.
